Aqua1 source area

Aqua1 comes from the small community of Folldal, with only 1,600 people. The source is located about 900 meters above sea level. The area no conflict of interest between conservationists and the authorities.

The surroundings of the source area is a National Park. The area has very stable weather conditions and it is protected by mountains. The area is very beautiful and from the source you can look straight into the Rondane National Park, which is one of the most popular areas for tourism in Europe.

Aqua1 carton best for the environment and quality

All biomass for the cartons comes from fast-growing trees in Scandinavia. The areas are replanted which makes this water sustainable.
When the trees are growing, they consume the surplus of CO².

Our cartons have the FSC mark and the material will dissolve in nature after some months without harming the environment. The best way is to recycle in a normal way, because no one should throw anything into nature!

The Aqua1 cartons come in rolls of 7,000 units. This means that one truck with empty cartons into the factory, results in 10 to 20 trucks with finished products. This is a very environmentally friendly and smart way to produce our products

Aqua1 carton protects

The material in our cartons does not let in any light to the product. Light can affect the taste and quality of the water. A simple test anyone can do is to buy one plastic bottle of natural mineral water and one Aqua1 carton. Store the units at room temperature for three days at 22 degrees Celsius and then taste. The result will speak for itself.

Our production is aseptic which results in high product safety for the consumers. The shelf life of Aqua1 is two years without compromising the quality of the products.
